IMPORTANT: WR International has not arranged transportation insurance for the transport that is booked on your behalf. We presume that our clients take out transport insurance themselves.If you wish us to insure the transport on your behalf through a declaration on our policy at AON(insurance company), please notify us immediately. Upon request, we’ll gladly send you a copy of the (English-language*) insurance conditions of AON.

PLEASE NOTE: if no transportation insurance is taken out, certain financial risks exist. These are related to, for example (but not limited to): damages to the transported goods, damages caused by the transported goods to the means of transport (e.g. the ship) and to third party goods and possible costs if ship and cargo have to be salvaged. For an overview of the conditions under which goods are transported, we refer to the Bill of Lading of the shipping company and the CMR conditions of the carrier. We are happy to send you a copy of these documents / conditions upon request.

If the transport is insured through a declaration on our policy at AON, the insurance only covers the transport booked by us on your behalf. Transport routes that precede or follow them (for example, the transport that is carried out after the goods have been released to you) are not covered by the insurance.
